The Denim Lab
The Denim Lab is a modern, hands-on studio dedicated to learning and making with denim. We offer small, carefully curated classes where participants work on professional industrial and specialty sewing machines in a relaxed, well-equipped environment.
Our workshops focus on real production techniques—using the same machines and methods found in professional studios—while keeping the experience approachable and supportive. Classes are intentionally small to ensure personal guidance and plenty of time on each machine.
Everything is included. There are no extra fees, no machine rental charges, and no material add-ons. Fabric, equipment, tools, lunch, and snacks are all provided, so you can focus entirely on learning, creating, and enjoying the process.

Jeans Workshop —1 day workshop
Learn how to make your own pair of jeans from start to finish in this immersive, hands-on workshop. Over six hours, you’ll be guided through the core techniques of jean construction, including fabric handling, seam construction, topstitching, and professional finishing details.
You’ll work in a modern studio using industrial sewing machines and denim-specific equipment, with personalized instruction throughout the session. This workshop is designed to demystify jeans construction while giving you practical skills you can apply to future projects.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a strong understanding of how jeans are built and a pair of jeans well underway.

* Open to men and women but the style we will make on this workshop is a women’s straight leg mid rise pair of jeans. Pattern sizes available: 27, 29, 30, or 32.

Denim Jacket Workshop
Denim Jacket Workshop —2 day workshop
Spend a full day designing and constructing your own custom denim jacket in our modern studio. This hands-on, six-hour workshop guides you through the essential steps of jacket construction, from pattern understanding and fabric handling to assembly and finishing details.
You’ll work on professional industrial sewing machines, learn denim-specific techniques, and receive one-on-one guidance throughout the process. Whether you’re refining your skills or building confidence with heavier fabrics, this workshop is designed to be both approachable and rewarding.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a jacket in progress and the knowledge to continue building or customizing it on your own.

Purse Making Workshop Coming Soon!
Corduroy & Leather Purse Workshop — 6 Hours
Design and construct a refined, functional purse using corduroy and leather accents in this hands-on, full-day workshop. Over six hours, you’ll learn the essential techniques for working with structured fabrics, combining soft textiles with leather details for a professional finish.
Participants will work on industrial sewing machines suited for heavier materials and specialty operations, learning proper construction, reinforcement, edge finishing, and hardware installation. The workshop balances guided instruction with creative freedom, allowing you to focus on craftsmanship and clean design.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed or nearly completed purse and the skills needed to confidently work with corduroy, leather trims, and bag construction techniques.

Intro to Denim. ApronWorkshop
4 Hours
This introductory workshop is designed to ease you into working with denim while building practical skills on professional industrial sewing machines. Over four hours, you’ll construct a durable, well-finished denim apron while learning the fundamentals of denim fabrication.
You’ll be guided through fabric handling, seam construction, topstitching, and reinforcement techniques commonly used in workwear and denim garments. The project is intentionally simple, allowing you to focus on clean construction, accuracy, and confidence at the machine.
This workshop is ideal for beginners or anyone curious about working with heavier fabrics and industrial equipment in a supportive, small-class setting.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed denim apron and a solid foundation for more advanced denim projects.
