(Sold Out) Sunday May 31, 2026. Men's Denim Jacket making workshop.
Spend a full day making your own unwashed denim jacket in a small, modern studio designed for hands-on learning. This workshop focuses on constructing a classic denim jacket style, with a clean, structured look that is both durable and easy to wear. The class is open to both men and women, but the pattern and fit we will be working from are based on this specific jacket style.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will complete a denim jacket in dark, unwashed denim. This is a great option for anyone who wants to better understand garment construction at a more advanced level while creating something practical and long-lasting. The project gives you the opportunity to work through the key stages of jacket construction in a guided setting, from preparation and assembly through to finishing details.
All supplies are included, so you do not need to bring fabric, notions, or tools. Your denim, thread, hardware, and all required materials will be prepared and ready for you in the studio. This keeps the process straightforward and allows you to focus fully on learning and building your jacket without needing to source materials ahead of time.
Classes are intentionally kept small so there is time for individual guidance throughout the day. The studio is compact, modern, and well equipped, creating a focused learning environment without feeling crowded. You will have access to industrial sewing machines and specialty equipment that make working with heavier materials more efficient and give you experience with tools not typically available in a home setup.
This workshop is best suited to students who already have some sewing experience and feel comfortable using a sewing machine with guidance. A denim jacket involves multiple layers, topstitching, and more detailed construction steps, so familiarity with basic sewing techniques will help you get the most out of the session. You do not need to be advanced, but you should feel confident working through a full day sewing project.
This is a practical, skill-building workshop for those who want to leave with both a finished garment and a stronger understanding of structured garment construction. It is a small-group class with all materials included, and the studio setup allows you to work with professional equipment in a supportive environment. The goal is simple: to build confidence working with heavier fabrics while learning the techniques and tools used in denim jacket construction.
